3rd webinar on assessment practices in the training field

The International Youth Work Trainers Guild together with partners are developing an online platform for professional development and appraisal of trainers. After the success of the 1st and 2nd webinar about practices of using 360º assessment (view webinar recordings and results), on the 3rd of July we hosted the 3rd webinar to engage trainers community into conversations about the use of 360° assessment in trainers’ work. 20+ people joined the webinar online.

This time we met with Jonathan Bowyer:

Jonathan Bowyer

Jonathan has been helping to develop people and organisations for more than 30 years. He has worked in adventure-based learning, managed a large experiential learning centre, been an internal consultant in a National Youth Organisation and volunteer Chair of a county youth “umbrella” organisation. For the last 17 years has worked with managers and leaders and their teams in companies, NGOs, public services and the UK National Health Service. He regularly trains trainers, coaches and mentors.

Jonathan started a bespoke online 360-degree service for his clients about 10 years ago (with survey monkey and no idea what he was doing!). In our webinar he focused on whether 360-degree feedback respondents should be anonymous or not, and how we, as trainers and coaches, can help feedback recipients get the most from their reports.
